The Ho Chi Minh City Open University and Phu My Engineering Construction Joint Stock Company (PMEC) signed a memorandum of understanding on a cooperative partnership aimed at mutual development.

This cooperation agreement aims to leverage the capabilities and strengths of each party, effectively utilize their resources in infrastructure, human capital, and expertise to train high-quality human resources that meet the practical needs of businesses.

Coordinating to enhance the academic quality of student training programs in the university’s fields of study.
This cooperation agreement will bring practical benefits to both parties in areas of hands-on training and the development of high-quality human resources.

At the signing ceremony, both parties agreed to cooperate on the following:

  • Jointly organizing academic activities such as expert talks, scientific seminars, etc., to provide career guidance for students or to update knowledge for PMEC.

  • Collaborating on the implementation of applied projects at the enterprise based on business requests.

  • PMEC will consider accepting university students for internship programs when there is a need.

  • PMEC will recruit students for part-time and full-time positions as needed. In addition, PMEC will support maintaining reports on the status of students and alumni working or interning at the company, fostering connections between alumni working at the company and the university.

  • PMEC will develop and leverage consulting services, technology transfer, practical training, and industry knowledge updates for students.

  • PMEC will provide scholarships for the university.

All cooperative relationships are aimed at the sustainable and positive development of both parties.
